Founded by Irene Gunter in 2014, Gunter & Co has grown into one of London’s most respected interior design studios, known for its refined yet playful approach to luxury interiors. Irene, whose career spans some of the city’s leading design studios, created Gunter & Co to offer a more considered, personal, and holistic design experience — one that honours the history, architecture, and location of each project while embracing modernity, organic forms, and timeless materials.
Since its inception, the studio has been joined by Ian Hazard and Tabitha Pethick-Money, whose expertise and shared design philosophy have helped Gunter & Co flourish into a fully immersive, multi-disciplinary practice. Together, they have built a design studio that delivers bespoke interiors grounded in quality, longevity, and understated elegance.
At the heart of Gunter & Co’s work is a belief that luxury design should feel personal, effortless, and infused with energy. Thoughtful detailing, natural materials, and a distinctive Belgian design influence, with an emphasis on comfort, subtle sophistication, and timeless appeal, characterise their interiors. The studio’s Battersea workspace in South West London reflects their approachable yet professional ethos.
